WVU Tech Summer Camps

Overview

Education is a life-long endeavor. WVU Tech proudly hosts faculty and staff-led camps geared toward offering young people in our communities an enriching, safe, and positive experience.

Camp STEM is southern West Virginia’s premiere camp for high school students interested in science, technology, engineering and math fields. The week-long camp is held on WVU Tech's campus in Beckley, West Virginia, and features a variety of STEM classes, special projects and field trips all specifically chosen to create a fun and engaging learning environment.

The Southern West Virginia Junior Nursing Academy is a great opportunity for rising eighth, ninth and tenth grade students to learn about the nursing profession. Our day camp will teach you everything from how to help patients to how to create and maintain safe and sterile nursing environments. Plus, our students will learn these important skills under the guidance of real nurses.

An opportunity to gain the fundamental skills young players need to improve their game and rise to the next level of student athlete. Learn from experienced coaches and players on the court.
