Thrive Art School has free Youtube art videos for kids of different skill levels ranging from beginners to intermediate. Thrive Art School was an actual art school that unfortunately closed down in 2019 and then made its paid videos completely free. In the beginner art video list, kids with little or no experience with drawing learn the basics of it.

Some of the techniques taught are layering and texture with marker. In their intermediate video list, kids practice the four steps of the creative process while learning new skills such as value and form. They also learn new techniques involved in watercolor and oil pastels. It's an easy and free way for kids to start learning from watching videos through their tablet or computer.
