Overview

The Friends School of Atlanta offers weekly STEAM-inspired day camps over the course of 8 weeks for rising kindergarten through rising 8th grade students during the summer months of June and July. We offer a variety of camps that are designed to engage and challenge kids at every stage of development.

Each week, our campers embark on a new journey as they discover a new subject matter of area of interest. From coding and robotics to dance camp and creative writing workshops with real authors, your child will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of STEAM subjects throughout the summer. Our weekly camps offer more than just a summer break activity, they’re enrichment tools. We believe the best way to learn is by doing, and our campers will participate in exciting, hands-on-activities and projects that make science, technology, engineering, arts, and math come alive. We also understand the importance of play in a child’s development. Our schedule incorporates plenty of active play time to keep your child engaged, healthy and having a blast.

Our passionate and experienced instructors are dedicated to sparking curiosity and fostering creativity in every child. They proactively provide a supportive and safe environment for learning and exploration. Our camps emphasize teamwork and collaboration. Children learn to work together, share ideas, and solve problems, which are essential life skills that extend beyond the classroom. At the end of each week, most camps offer children the opportunity to showcase their projects and discoveries to friends and family. Community invitations are typically tied to our arts and performance camps.
