Overview

The Coding School (TCS) is a 501(c)(3)international nonprofit focused on skill-building and workforce development in technologies that are going to change the world over the next decade, such as Quantum Computing and Artificial Intelligence. With a commitment to accessible, supportive computer science education, we offer first-of-their-kind pathways and programs for individuals at every stage of their STEM journey, including: K-12 students and educators, community college and university students and faculty, and members of the workforce. Since 2014, TCS has trained over 60,000 individual in partnership with leading companies and universities including MIT, Stanford, Google, AWS, IBM and the Whitehouse.

Their National High School Research Program offers an unprecedented opportunity for students to develop tangible technical skills in cutting-edge tech fields that are changing the world - AI, Quantum Computing and Big Data - which have applications across every industry from medicine to finance, defense, entertainment, and more.

Over four to five weeks, students will transform from having zero knowledge to a full skill set of technical skills and will receive training and mentorships in conducting research. Working closely with local and national mentors from government, industry, or academia, students will develop their own research projects using real-world datasets and technical applications, culminating in projects that can be showcased in their college applications and presented at the TCS National Research Symposium.
