Overview

The Sitka Sound Science Center is excited to offer a unique selection of camps for students, families, and adults in our community!

The theme for Summer Camp is Forces. Camp options and details will be posted soon, check back for updates. All camps will combine art, design, engineering, and outdoor excursions. Science Center programs are high energy, science-based, and tons of fun!

Summer Camp Scholarships Available. The Sitka Sound Science Center believes every participant should have equal access to science education and research opportunities. SSSC aims to provide inclusive programming for people of all ages and backgrounds.

We offer scholarships every year to reduce financial barriers that limit access to enrichment opportunities. With backing from the Alaska State Department of Early Education Summer Learning and Enrichment Grant, participants can apply to have the cost waived for summer camp programming. Other scholarship funds are available throughout the year.

There are no prerequisites for this application. Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis.
