Overview
Learn how to make pictures, not just take them! With just a camera and a computer, the world is your digital darkroom! Learn the art of capturing faces, places and moments in time with a SNAP and share the joy with your friends and family! Be the master of your social media world; learn how at PAW’s Photography Summer Camp.
At PAW’s Photography Camp (for ages 8-14) you will give life to your artistic vision through digital photography. You will learn the fundamentals of the medium, such as composition, exposure, light & shadow, and depth of field, and then apply these concepts to different genres of photography, including landscape, still life, portrait, advertising, candid and headshots. From behind the camera to in front of the computer, you will also learn how to digitally enhance and master your pictures utilizing software applications.
Each session of Photography Camp is one week in length, with 8 weeks available throughout our locations. Each week students will select photos from their collected work to print at home which will be included in a notebook-style portfolio to enjoy for years to come. Learn to capture moments in time and become the visual historian for your family and friends through digital photography.
