Overview
JA Biz Camp Alaska is a summer day camp geared towards elementary and middle school students. This camp helps young people prepare for their future by showing them how to manage money and how to integrate entrepreneurial thinking into their lives. Students put these lessons into action and learn the value of contributing to their communities.
Registration fees include:
* Complimentary water bottle
* Presentations from local business leaders and entrepreneurs
* Leadership and soft skills workshops
* Arts and crafts and daily indoor playground access
* Opportunity to win prizes for their start-up! (see below)
* 2 daily snacks (lunch is NOT provided)
Shark Tank Pitch Contest: The lessons lead up to the Shark Tank Pitch contest, where students will present their business and financing plans to a panel of judges from the business community. The judges will select a winner who will walk away with money for their start-up!
