A summer where you live, learn, and grow within a warm and welcoming camp community, all while having the time of your life. Imagine a summer at Greenwood Trails! Greenwood Trails is a family-owned coed camp nestled on over 100 wooded acres in the beautiful Berkshires of Northwest Connecticut. In this beautiful setting, campers experience fabulous summers, build lifelong memories and learn skills that benefit them long into the future.

A Close-Knit, Caring Community. Our community is capped at 180 campers, ensuring each camper receives individual attention with four-to-one camper to staff ratio. Dedicated staff create a warm, positive and easygoing community where everyone feels welcome and comfortable being themselves. Many refer to Greenwood Trails as their second home.

A Program that Encourages Individuality. Every child is unique, and the more they can “choose their own trail,” the more exciting and meaningful camp becomes. Campers can customize most of their own schedule from our four trails – arts, aquatics, athletics and adventure. Along the way, they step outside their comfort zone, grow in confidence, and discover their passions.

Campers “Unplug” and Connect. Greenwood Trails is screen-free. By disconnecting from devices, campers connect more deeply with each other, their counselors, nature, and themselves. Free from outside distractions, they thrive in our camper-centered environment.

A Place to Have Fun! At the end of the day, we believe camp is a place where kids can just be kids. Whether it’s spontaneous dance parties at dinner or acting out a wacky skit with their cabin, we want kids to express themselves and have fun in a safe, friendly environment that’s bursting with camp spirit.
