Great Basin Outdoor School Summer Adventure

The Great Basin Outdoor School's Summer Adventure Day Camp is an excellent place for kids to learn, play, and experience in wonders of nature. It's located in West Reno, at the River School Farm and close to Mayberry Park. Boys and girls ages 6-12 spend their day split between participating in activities indoors in the River School Farm and spending time outdoors in the park's natural environment.

At the Great Basin, kids can learn on topics revolving around water, geology, local ecology, and much more. Each week of camp features a different focus, with topics like Water & Weather, Energy Rocks, The Great Outdoors, and more.

In addition to learning in a hands-on outdoor environment, kids also get a chance to learn about science through guest speakers, art and craft projects, and thrilling science experiments.
