Fortnite: Creating and Coding 3D Games is a summer camp program from Fleming Tech Camps that teaches students how to develop and code their own 3D games using Fortnite Creative Mode. This program is designed for students who have a passion for gaming and an interest in learning how to create their own games.

At this summer camp, students will have the opportunity to develop 3D worlds, puzzles, and problems while exploring the process of building 3D game worlds. They will learn about 3D FPS design principles and get an introduction to coding concepts such as variables, collision detection, conditional statements, functions, and loops.

One of the learning objectives of the camp is to demonstrate an understanding of variables as a concept in the context of a game. Students will be challenged to create a puzzle in a game environment that incorporates the use of variables. They will also learn about collision detection and be tasked with creating an obstacle course with challenges that incorporate the use of collision detection, events, and triggers.
