Overview

Catalina Sea Camp is an overnight summer camp on Catalina Island, California, where kids and teens ages 8–17 dive into Adventure & Growth, Curiosity & Discovery, and Community & Belonging. Campers explore the ocean through hands-on marine science, scuba diving, snorkeling, and sailing—experiencing a one-of-a-kind island program that’s been inspiring young ocean explorers for over 40 years.

We take pride in providing a safe and supportive environment where campers can try new things, build confidence, and become their best selves. Catalina Sea Camp is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA), meeting more than 100 rigorous health and safety standards. With over 40 years of experience, we’re always evolving—adding new activities, improving staff training, and refining our programs to make a lasting, positive difference in the lives of children.

Home to Catalina Sea Camp’s 1-Week and 2.5-Week sessions, Toyon Bay is tucked into a private cove just a few miles from Avalon—an unforgettable setting where campers dive into ocean adventures, exploration, and lifelong friendships.
