Overview
For over 110 years, campers have called Camp Kingswood their second home. Located in the pristine lake region of Maine, at the base of the White Mountains, Camp Kingswood’s rustic waterfront location provides the perfect setting for 2nd through 11th graders to have an unplugged, authentic Jewish overnight camp experience steeped in fun, growth, and adventure.
At Kingswood, campers can grow into the best version of themselves in our warm and accepting community – a place where they gain confidence, resilience, and life-long friendships, with the support and guidance of our amazing camp staff. Our units are intentionally designed to meet the unique developmental needs of each age group, with new opportunities, meaningful rites of passage, and exciting programs introduced along the way.
At Kingswood, each day offers a balance of bunk activities and individual choice, providing campers with opportunities to try everything while specializing and developing new skills in the activities they love most. Campers look forward to creative unit programs, Shabbat, Color War, trips, and other camp-wide events, when kids can feel the excitement and ruach (spirit) of the Kingswood community all together.
At Kingswood, when you talk about the “camp magic,” it’s all about our staff. Camp Kingswood staff are loving, fun, and energetic. They work tirelessly to create a vibrant and exciting community rooted in Jewish values, and they model for our campers what it means to be confident, caring, and compassionate. Our hiring process is competitive, enabling us to hire the very best experienced team to care for our campers each summer.
