Overview

Camp Halfmoon is Kimama’s homebase in the United States. In taking the concept of American Summer camp, sprinkling some Israeli flavor on it - something totally original was born. Kimama, meaning butterfly, is the perfect fusion of traditional American Summer Camp infused with the Spirit of Israel at every turn. We sing, dance, eat and play and explore. We learn about Israel by immersing ourselves in it - and most of all we provide kids and teens with the absolute best experience of their lives in a peaceful, screen free setting, all Summer long!

The Kimama Group, with over 20 years of experience, has been curating programming for kids and teens around the world. With our home base on the sunny shores of Israel, Kimama draws from traditional American summer camp values fused with the fresh outlook of Israeli culture and character. As an inclusive community, we welcome campers and staff from around the world. At Halfmoon, every single camper is seen and cheered on with individual attention cultivating a strong sense of importance, connection, and belonging.

Our beliefs lie first and foremost in the power of summer camp and giving kids what we know to be the most important experience of their lives. At Kimama Halfmoon we see being a part of children’s lives as an honor, and believe that we are not just an integral part of raising our campers, but in building their foundation and providing the tools to be tomorrow's leaders.
