Academy Camps Soccer

Academy Camps host 1 to 2-week overnight coed soccer camps at the world-class facilities of Suffield Academy in Connecticut. Coed campers ages 9-16 come here every summer to receive elite soccer training.

These soccer camps are led by Coach Rich Warren, who serves as the coach for Suffield Academy and was previously awarded Connecticut's Large Preparatory High School Coach of the Year. He was also part of the Jamaican Youth National Team in the past.

With Academy Camps, all skills that are important for any soccer player to have are covered here. There is training on everything from the physical aspects like dribbling, shooting and passing to touch. The mental part of the game like decision making, visualization, and game IQ are also taught by the professional coaches.

Players will get to play and practice on their amazing David Holmes Field, where they work on position-specific routines and scenarios. Academy Camps has an anti-burnout philosophy, so campers also participate in typical camp activities and events after their elite training. They also have additional offerings for basketball, tennis, and lacrosse.

Campers end up leaving the camp with more skills and motivation as well as fun memories. In addition to sports training, their days also feature adventure activities and social events.
