Keystone Camp

Overview

Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, we are approximately one mile from downtown Brevard, population 7,000, and approximately 40 minutes from Asheville. Pisgah National Forest is only 15 minutes from our front gate. Needless to say we take full advantage of our surrounding area.

Our campers range from seven to fourteen years of age. Once they go above the ninth grade they enter our Leadership and Aide programs.

The girls are divided into three grade groups: Elves (K-4th), Pixies (5th-6th), & Dryads (7th-8th). Though they live in groups according to their grade, their activities have no age divisions. We encourage our girls to work and play with those both older and younger.

We offer over 30 instructed activities. This variety appeals to all ages and interests. Recognizing that every girl is an individual, Keystone offers both group and individual focused activities, with qualified instructors for each.

Campers choose their activities on Opening Day according to their interests. While a child cannot possibly take everything in one short season, she may change her schedule to try new activities each week. Girls are placed in their activities individually by their level or achievement rather than their age.
