Overview

The Young Actors' Theatre Camp is an award-winning overnight camp in the Santa Cruz mountains for campers who love the performing arts, onstage and off. Built on the foundation of a safe and supportive environment, YATC has hosted countless Tony, Emmy, Grammy, and Oscar-winning instructors.

YATC has been invited to the historic 54 Below stage in New York and the Cannes Film Festival in France, all thanks to the incredible talents of our campers and teachers. Thousands of campers have studied at YATC, and have gone on to work on Broadway and in Film & TV, pursuing successful careers as actors, writers, directors, casting directors, producers, costume designers, comedians, and makeup designers, to name a few.

In each session campers will have ALL of the classes in All of the Performing Arts, but will choose ONE TRACK to focus on. Half of your camper’s day will be in their TRACK and the other half will be in a variety of Activities, Classes and Master Classes. This will ensure that all of our students are able to get a variety of the programming we offer, but also be able to “major” in ONE TRACK. In each 7 or 10 day camp session, campers will choose only ONE TRACK."
