Overview
Embark on an adventure with your classmates as you take on a journey to a Newfoundland and experience what settlers did years ago in history to survive. Build a settlement with your friends, find food and interact with neighboring tribes to trade for useful materials for your village! Students will alternate between playing on a survival world together and doing some creative challenges as well as some minigames. From the basics of Minecraft to the very complex builds that the game can offer, students will finish this camp with the knowledge to not only be a Minecraft master, but also teach others how to become one as well. Through Minecraft students develop creativity, critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork, and time management foundational skills.
