PARI strives to inspire campers to look towards space and other STEM paths for a career. Campers learn about Astronomy and Space Exploration with their interactive summer camps for middle and high school students.
The beautiful campus and facilities in the Pisgah Forest make learning about Space, robotics, astrophysics, and everything in between fun and engaging. PARI offers a one-week or a two-week camp option at the prestigious institute, the activities are tailored to improving student camper's teamwork and communication skills.
Accommodations for the camp are dormitory-style buildings where each room is designated to a group of campers based on age and gender. Three meals along with snacks are served daily, and most dietary restrictions can be accommodated.
Throughout their stay, your camper will explore space using a telescope, dive into scientific research, and carry out science experiments. Some weeks are more academically focused than others.
Campers can go hiking, swim, and visit scenic waterfalls while also doing real scientific research and learning using the latest technology and diving deep into the principles of STEM. You can select from different camp focuses depending on your child's grade level and topic interests.
