Overview

Jameson Ranch Camp is an overnight summer camp in California that helps children and teens develop confidence, independence, and lifelong friendships through immersive, screen-free experiences in nature. For generations, families have chosen Jameson Ranch Camp for its intentional programming, exceptional staff mentorship, and emphasis on character development, leadership, and community.

JRC is a two-week, digital-free summer program for children ages 6–15, with a Counselor-in-Training program for teens, 16-17. But more importantly, it is a carefully designed community where children practice independence, build confidence, and experience real belonging.

For more than 90 years, families have chosen JRC not simply for the activities — horseback riding, kayaking, rock climbing, archery, mountain biking — but for the transformation that happens quietly in between.

Set on a historic ranch property, Jameson Ranch Camp offers campers the rare opportunity to disconnect from technology and reconnect with themselves, others, and the natural world.

Our program blends time-honored camp traditions with modern best practices in youth development, creating an environment where campers thrive socially, emotionally, and physically.
