ChessWorld was founded by Boris Alterman and Luba Alterman, combining decades of professional chess expertise with deep experience in chess education.
Boris Alterman, Grandmaster and former member of the Israeli national team, has dedicated his career to competitive chess, coaching, and developing structured learning methods for beginners and young players.
Luba Alterman brings extensive experience in chess education program design and learner-focused curriculum development, with a strong emphasis on clarity, progression, and accessibility for early-stage students.
Together, we created ChessWorld to provide a clear, curriculum-based approach to teaching chess, designed to work effectively in schools, organized programs, and home learning environments.
