Camp Widjiwagan

Overview

YMCA Camp Widjiwagan is a place where adventure, community, and personal growth come together in the outdoors. Guided by the YMCA’s core values of Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, Caring, and Faith, Widji creates a welcoming environment where campers are encouraged to try new things, support one another, and grow into their best selves. As an ACA-accredited camp, Widji meets nationally recognized standards for safety, program quality, and staff training, ensuring a high-quality camp experience for every camper.

Camp Widjiwagan offers Day Camp, Overnight Camp, and an Equestrian program for youth ages 6–17, providing meaningful experiences across a wide range of interests and stages of development. Campers build lasting friendships, explore nature, and gain confidence through hands-on activities and shared adventures—whether spending the day immersed in outdoor fun, living in a cabin community, or developing riding skills and horsemanship. Across every program, Widji’s mission is to inspire confidence, foster connection, and create unforgettable camp experiences that last far beyond summer.

Located on 300 acres along Percy Priest Lake, just outside of Nashville, Camp Widjiwagan provides a stunning natural setting that feels worlds away while remaining close to home. Forests, open spaces, waterfront access, and scenic trails give campers countless opportunities to explore nature, unplug from screens, and fully immerse themselves in the camp experience—all within easy reach of the city.
