Camp Wekeela

Camp Wekeela is a sleep-away camp for boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 16 and has a fantastic staff to camper ratio of 1:2.5. The family run camp can be found in Hartford and has been around since 1922.

Diversity and new experiences are a huge piece of the puzzle for sending children here for the summer, with staff and campers from several U.S states and 20 countries. Younger campers can do all kinds of things like rock climbing, backpacking, horseback riding, performing arts, tennis, sports, paddle boarding, and several other waterfront activities.

A wide variety of sports and activities, outdoor and environmental education programs, performance and culinary arts programs, and so much more are offered. The team is always updating and adding new things to their summer programs.
