Overview
At Camp Rockmont, campers and staff work together to create an incredibly fun and meaningful Christian community in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Each summer, Rockmont serves over 1,400 boys from all over the U.S. and other countries. We partner with parents to invite young men to answer a universal call to adventure and discover things about themselves that require the kind of experience that only a quality boys summer camp can provide. We invite your son to be part of that journey!
Within each camp session, a camper’s experience varies depending on his age. From placement of cabins to the language used to bless and encourage, every aspect of camp is thoughtfully tailored to the developmental needs of your camper. The age divisions also create a smaller community where every camper is known and appreciated.
Skills at Rockmont are all about discovery, growth, and adventure. Whether scaling a rock face, crafting a leather project, or perfecting a jump shot, campers engage in hands-on learning that builds confidence and character. Our age-progressive skill programs allow boys to develop their abilities over time, gaining new challenges as they grow. Each camper selects their top six skill choices before camp and is placed in five, with the flexibility to make changes in the first few days. With expert guidance, exciting challenges, and plenty of fun, Rockmont’s skill offerings create the perfect environment for learning, exploration, and lifelong memories. Skills take place either in the mornings (Skills 1, 2, & 3) or in the afternoons (Skill 4 & 5), except for on all skills days.
