Overview
Our Horse Camp add-on is a half-day experience available for both day and overnight campers. It is open to riders of all experience levels, from beginners to advanced. Campers spend each morning (Monday–Friday, weather permitting) at the barn for riding lessons, trail rides, and hands-on barn activities. Riders are evaluated on Monday and paired with a suitable horse and group based on experience level—not age. Horse assignments may change throughout the week. After the first half of each day, campers will participate in Traditional Day Camp activities (such as Arts & Crafts, Sports & Games, Theatre, Swimming, etc). Horse Lover’s Day Camp: Ages 7 to 16 (Day or Extended Day)
At Camp Marshall, our mission is to empower and inspire children of all socioeconomic backgrounds—including those from underserved communities and families of deployed military personnel—through transformative outdoor experiences. While fostering Appreciation of Diversity, Confidence, and Teamwork, we provide a safe, inclusive, and adventure-filled environment where every child can explore nature, build lasting friendships, develop confidence, strong character and create lifelong memories. Our camp fosters resilience, leadership, and joy in every camper, regardless of their circumstances.
