Overview
At Camp Lookout, we believe that young people learn best through experience. Our programs are designed to spark creativity, encourage exploration, and build a strong sense of community. Everything we do helps participants deepen their connection to themselves, to others, and to the natural world around them.
We strive to create experiences that are meaningful, challenging, and fun. By the time participants leave camp, we hope they’ve grown more confident and independent, strengthened their ability to communicate and collaborate, and discovered something new about their world—or about themselves.
Free time is an intentional unstructured time for campers to explore, create, and play. Campers and staff usually collaborate during this time to make their ideas for activities and evening programs come to life.
Our morning and afternoon activity periods offer a wide variety of activities for campers to try -- all of which are created and facilitated by campers and staff alike! Campers can choose from 5-7 activities based on their interest and mood. We encourage campers to add creative and collaborative twists. Because of this, no week, day, or activity period is ever the same at camp.
