Camp Killoqua Overview

Camp Killoqua follows the Camp Fire philosophy where an emphasis on the small group, individual attention, acceptance of differences and a loosely-structured child-centered approach. Programs focus on appreciation of the out-of-doors, democratic group living, non-competitive sports and games, skill development, concern for others, fun and friendship.

Camp Killoqua will welcome your camper on a weekly journey that sees them explore a beautiful 185 acre area of wilderness and lakeside campus. Their campus is customized for outdoor games, hiking, and more, so your child can get an authentic summer camp experience. With overnight and day camps, choose from weekly sessions with varying themes and age-appropriate activities based on your child's grade level.

Activities from archery and ropes courses to hiking, canoeing, swimming and boating, are part of the typical experience at Camp Killoqua. Counselors are always watching over the young campers keeping a watchful eye over their assigned cabin group.

These camps are open to all and pride themselves on their inclusion and diversity. Camp Killoqua has a strong history that dates back to more than 50+ years and has been providing  campers with powerful outdoor experiences ever since.
