Camp Gray

Overview

Camp Gray is the Catholic Summer Camp and year-round Retreat Center of the Diocese of Madison, WI.

Since 1953, in everything we do, we incorporate the Catholic faith, encourage love of neighbor, and have tons of fun! With ten sessions of summer camp for campers in 2nd-12th grade, countless retreats throughout the school year for middle school and high school students, and a festive Family Camp weekend, there are many opportunities to enjoy our beautiful 225 acres of God’s beauty!

In the summer, we welcome more than 1500 campers for various programs tailored to particular age groups ranging from 2nd-12th grade. Our week-long summer sessions are packed with fun and laughter as they provide kids the unique opportunity to experience the beauty of God’s creation and the joy of the Catholic faith.

Camp Gray is accredited by the American Camp Association® (ACA). This means we undergo a thorough review of our operation, from staff qualifications and training to emergency management. The ACA collaborates with experts from the American Academy of Pediatrics, and American Red Cross, and other youth service agencies to assure that the practices at Camp Gray reflect the most up-to-date, research-based standards in camp operation. Camp Gray is proud to partner with the ACA to promote a safe environment for our mission.
