Camp Doublecreek

Overview

Camp Doublecreek was founded in 1971 by Uncle Carter and Aunt Trudy, who wanted to give children, ages 4-14, of the greater Austin area, a place where they could thrive in the summers.​

We're proud to continue Uncle Carter and Aunt Trudy's dreams through encouraging, challenging, engaging, and inspiring our campers every single day. We accomplish these goals, by using a variety of summer camp activities led by our supportive and caring staff. We know how important it is for campers of all ages, as well as our staff, to go home at the end of the day knowing that someone believes in them.

Not only do camp activities provide an opportunity for our campers to have fun and be active, but they also help our campers grow in important ways. Through a variety of summer camp activities led by our supportive and caring staff, we encourage, challenge, engage, and inspire our campers every single day. We know how important it is for campers of all ages to go home at the end of the day knowing that someone believes in them.

Camp activities are important because they provide an opportunity for physical activity, teach new skills, build confidence, encourage teamwork, and are FUN! Physical activity is so important for kids of all ages. It helps them stay healthy and fit, and it's a great way to release energy.
