Overview
While a picture is worth a thousand words, millions could be—and have been—said about the effect of Camp Chippewa on a young man. Since 1935 boys have built confidence, come of age, and found new strength between the pines at Cass Lake. Boys find a summer home and are left with lifelong memories and friendships. Former campers return as staff to pay forward the time and attention they received from their role models. And men decades removed from their time at camp are still so indebted that they donate their time and money to continue the impact of Camp Chippewa on boys into the future.
Adventure. Tradition. Character. These are the three pillars of Camp Chippewa; they inform everything we do, both day-to-day and long-term. Read on to learn about how we’re different, and more importantly, why we do things the way we do.
Nestled between two lakes and towering pines in the Chippewa National Forest, Camp Chippewa’s location is a beautiful place for boys to unplug, reset, and discover their true selves. Just shy of the Canadian border, our location provides unparalleled access to the natural beauty of the midwest.
