Camp BizSmart

Overview

At Camp BizSmart, aspiring young entrepreneurs acquire essential skills needed to be successful in school, at home and in a future career, by solving actual business problems from the CEO’s of hot Silicon Valley companies. Over 10-days, students work in teams and are mentored by industry experts. On day 10, students present and defend their solutions before a panel of venture capital and angel investors.

Students will work in teams for the duration of the 10-day program. On day one, each student negotiates for an executive management Team Role. Each team is made up of 6-7 students.

Teams are chosen on the first day of the session, following a series of activities that give students the opportunity to learn the skills, capabilities, and personalities of their potential team members.

Each team will have written a business plan and worked with an industrial designer to visualize their product. The final package is a digital portfolio piece and cool rendering for the students to remember their experience!
