Overview

Boys and girls ages 7-17 are welcome at Berkshire Trails Camp, an overnight summer camp in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Founded in 1968 as Kutsher's Sports Academy, Berkshire Trails carries on a long-standing tradition on a campus that has meant a great deal to generations of campers, while offering a modern and expanded program. Sessions range from 2 to 7 weeks in length.

Set in the heart of the Berkshires, the camp pairs warm, sunny days with cool nights, giving campers time on the fields, at the waterfront and in the arts center, and s'mores around a campfire at night. Campers also take out-of-camp trips to local spots including amusement parks, hiking trails and museums.

Berkshire Trails is a traditional, tech-free camp. Free from screens and surrounded by the natural beauty of the Berkshires, campers get the chance to discover who they are, try new things, build lasting relationships and find their passion. The philosophy is simple: confidence grows when kids are supported, celebrated and encouraged to explore.

From campfires under the stars to spirited games on the fields, from arts and music to adventures on the trails and the lake, each day is filled with opportunities for growth. More than a list of activities, Berkshire Trails is about building a community where every camper feels valued, safe and part of something special.

Facilities include a 20,000 square foot indoor fieldhouse housing gymnastics, parkour, indoor basketball and a fitness center, plus a skate park, six tennis courts, four basketball courts, two baseball and softball fields, two sports fields, a roller hockey rink, a beach volleyball court, a circus program with flying trapeze and bungee trampoline, a full waterfront and an art center.
